• What a precious thing it is that Hezekiah's humiliation produces fruit in those around him; "the inhabitants of Jerusalem" humbled themselves with him. Once again the eyes of the Lord could discover "good things" in Judah; it is interesting to see that God attentively looks for any manifestation of conscience that may give Him an occasion to continue in patience toward His people.
