2 Thess. 2:8‑10• 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

Dan. 7:25• 25And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. (Dan. 7:25)

1 John 2:18• 18Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. (1 John 2:18)

Rev. 13:11‑18• 11And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
12And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
14And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
15And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

the son.
 The wicked one who has then to be judged had not yet appeared, so that the judgment could not be executed. (2 Thessalonians 2 by J.N. Darby)
 The principle of sin in man is his own will. He arises, as we have already seen, out of the rejection of Christianity. (2 Thessalonians 2 by J.N. Darby)
 The wicked one who has then to be judged had not yet appeared, so that the judgment could not be executed. (2 Thessalonians 2 by J.N. Darby)
 There should be a person who would fully realize in sin the character of man without God. He is the man of sin. He does his own will—it is but Adam fully developed; and, incited by the enemy, he opposes himself to God. (2 Thessalonians 2 by J.N. Darby)
 Here {the apostasy} is no such partial turning away, but the extreme and general defection from the gospel, which will boldly issue in the abandonment of all revealed truth and of what may be called natural religion, the testimony to the Godhead in creation and man's conscience. (On 2 Thessalonians 2:3 by W. Kelly)
 "The man of sin, the son of perdition." He is to be the evident and personal contrast of Christ, the Man of righteousness, the Savior of the lost. (On 2 Thessalonians 2:3 by W. Kelly)

J. N. Darby Translation

+
3
Let not any one deceive you in any manner, because it will not be unless the apostasy have first come, and the man of sin have been revealed, the son of perdition;

W. Kelly Translation

+
3
Let none deceive you in any way; because [it will not bea] except the falling awayb shall have come first, and the man of sinc be revealed, the son of perdition;

WK Translation Notes

+
a
"That day shall not come" as the KJV is an insertion of our translators, marked therefore by italics, though substantially correct.
b
Our KJV translators have utterly weakened the sense by rendering it "a falling away." Beyond doubt it is "the apostasy," and there is no ground whatever for depriving the phrase of its intentionally definite force.
c
Some MSS. read "lawlessness."
