When my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.1

Thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.1

Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.2 – Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.3

Ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.1 – I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me.2 – I am his.3 – The Son of God … loved me, and gave himself for me.4

Now we see through a glass, darkly.1 – Now we see not yet all things put under him.2

We have … a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts.3 – Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.4

Him that is weak in the faith.1 – Strong in faith, giving glory to God.2
