If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.1 – Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. … I will; be thou clean.2 – Faith as a grain of mustard seed.3
Cast not away … your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.4 – Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.5
First the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.6 – Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord.7 – The kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.8 – So run, that ye may obtain.9
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day.10

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.1 – Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit.2
This is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: and if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.3 – This is the will of God, even your sanctification.4
God hath … called us … unto holiness. … who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.5
Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit.6

Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap. … Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; … Seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. … Your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.1
Having food and raiment let us be therewith content. … They that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.2
The cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.3
Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.4

Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?1
The brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person.2 – The blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.3 – I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.4
Lord, I believe.5 – I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.6
Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious.7

Put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and … put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.1
Ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.2 – As Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. … Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. … Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. … But yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.3

Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.1 – If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.2
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh.3 – Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump.4 – The new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.5
Thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.6
Behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.7 – Seeing … that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness?8

There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both.1 – I forgave thee all that debt; … shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?2
When ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.3 – Put on, … as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any.4
How oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.5
Charity … is the bond of perfectness.6

Thou shalt bruise his heel.1 – This is your hour, and the power of darkness.2 – As the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death, he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.3 – Having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.4
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: whom resist steadfast in the faith.5 – Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.6
The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.7 – The God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.8 – The devil … was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, … and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.9

Being not weak in faith, [Abraham] considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.1
Is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?2 – If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.3
All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.4 – Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?5 – Behold the fowls of the air: … your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?6 – Why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread? Do ye not … remember the five loaves of the five thousand?7
My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.8

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.1
Be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.2 – I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.3
The Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins.4 – In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.5 – Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.6 – Having forgiven you all trespasses; blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.7
Bless the Lord, O my soul, … who forgiveth all thine iniquities.8
