Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.1 – The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.2 – Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.3
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. … I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.4 – Brethren, whatsoever things are true, what-soever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.5 – As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.6
We are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ7 – Nor handling the word of God deceitfully.8

That Rock was Christ.1 – Simon Peter … said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said … Upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.2 – Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.3
Let us draw near … in full assurance of faith. … faith without wavering.4 – Let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. … He that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.5
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? … Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.6

Thou blessest, O Lord, and it shall be blessed forever.1 – The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.2
Remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.3 – When thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: and thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.4 – Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.5
Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.6
The Lord God is a sun and shield.7

He hath showed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?1 – To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good.2
As many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. … Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made.3
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son.4
Speak, Lord; for thy servant heareth.5

Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.1
Beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.2 – Thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.3 – Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down. … For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.4

There fell some of Manasseh to David. … And they helped David against the band of the rovers: for they were all mighty men of valour.1 – The manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.2
Of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do.3 – To one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit.4
Of Zebulun, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, with all instruments of war, fifty thousand, which could keep rank: they were not of double heart.5 – A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.6
There should be not schism in the body; but … the members should have the same care one for another. And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honored, all the members rejoice with it.7 – One Lord, one faith, one baptism.8

Over the king’s treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over the storehouses … Jehonathan: … and over them that did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri: … and over the vineyards was Shimei. … These were the rulers of the substance which was king David’s.1
God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.2 – All these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.3
As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion forever and ever.4

By the grace of God I am what I am.1 – Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth.2 – It is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy.3 – Where is boasting then? It is excluded.4 – Christ Jesus, … is made unto us wisdom, and right-eousness, and sanctification, and redemption: … He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.5
You hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.6 – Ye are washed, … ye are sanctified, … ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.7

First the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.1 – Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.2
They measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. . . But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.3
The body is of Christ. Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, and not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.4
Grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.5

Moses said unto the Lord, … I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, show me now thy way, that I may know thee. … And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.1 – He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.2
The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. … What man is he that feareth the Lord? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.3 – Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.4
Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore.5 – I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.6 – The path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.7
