I beseech thee, show me thy glory. … And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.1 – No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.2

This is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.1 – I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.2

Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all under-standing, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.1

The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?1 – We had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead: who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us.2 – The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.3

He came unto his own, and his own received him not.1 – The Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith.2

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days.1

Men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.1 – Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.2
