Father, I will that they … whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me.1 – I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.2 – He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.3
Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.4 – Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus.5

I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.1 – In his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.2 – As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: so the Lord alone did lead him.3
Even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.4 – This God is our God forever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.5
Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee.6 – Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. … For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.7
Hitherto hath the Lord helped us.8

You, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: if ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel.1 – That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.2
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.3 – Sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.4
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.5

This is the will of God, even your sanctification.1 – Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.2 – This is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.3 – We know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.4
We … do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.5 – The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, … give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe.6

I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.1 – Who can forgive sins but God only?2
I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.3 – Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity.4 – Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity?5
God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.6 – The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.7
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.8 – Sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under law, but under grace. … Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.9

Here have we no continuing city.1 – Ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.2
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.3
Now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations.4 – There the wicked cease from troubling; and there the weary be at rest.5
We that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened.6 – God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.7
The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.8 – Our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.9

Ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.1 – As ye have … received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.2 – He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.3 – That on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.4
By faith ye stand.5
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.6
He that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.7

I have loved thee with an everlasting love.1
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.2
When the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.3 – The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.4 – Great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh.5
As the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.6

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, … and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.1
The grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity.2

I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil.1 – There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked.2
In Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace.3
It pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell; and, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself.4 – Christ Jesus: whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, … that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.5 – If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.6
Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.7
