I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. This people have I formed for myself; they shall show forth my praise.1 – I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me. Abstain from all appearance of evil.1 – Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.2 – For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men.3

I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.1 – The Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom.2 – We are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.1

The Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.1 – Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.2 – As by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.3
