I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. … I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.1
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.2 – Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.3 – A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.4
He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.5 – Christ … loved the church, and gave himself for it; that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.6

Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: who … took upon him the form of a servant.1 – Even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.2 – He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.3
When Jesus … saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled. … Jesus wept.4 – Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.5
Be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.6

This people have I formed for myself; they shall show forth my praise.1 – I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me. And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honor before all the nations of the earth.2 – By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.3
I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name forevermore. For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.4 – Who is like unto thee, O Lord, … glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?5 – I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.6 – They sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty.7

Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power.1 – As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.2 – Trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.3 – Built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; in whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: in whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.4
I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.5 – Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.6
Fight the good fight of faith.7 – In nothing terrified by your adversaries.8

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.1 – Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.2 – The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.3 – Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart.4
I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain.5

Abstain from all appearance of evil.1 – Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.2 – For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men.3
But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.4
Brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.5 – Take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to them that are weak.6 – Whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.7 – Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.8

I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.1 – The Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom.2 – We are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.3 – Your life is hid with Christ in God.4
Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?5
Our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.6

He hath showed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?1 – Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.2 – To love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.3
Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment, and wait on thy God continually.4 – Mary … sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word. … One thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.5
It is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.6

Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.1
Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.2 – Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently.3 – Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.4 – Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another.5 – Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.6
We … that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.7

The Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.1 – Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.2 – As by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.3
After that the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior; that being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.4 – There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.5
THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.6
