I beseech you, … brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.1 – As ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.2 – In Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy.3
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.4 – I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.5

I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no savior.1 – There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.2 – There is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.3
The mighty God.4 – Who … made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name.5 – We see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.6 – Forasmuch … as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same.7

Gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.1 – Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; … above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.2
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it. And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; … we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.3
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.4

O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.1 – How great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee.2
This people have I formed for myself; they shall show forth my praise.3 – Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. … That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.4
How great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty!5 – The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; to make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.6

I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.1 – God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.2
The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.3 – When he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.4 – It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.5
If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.6

Upon man’s flesh shall it not be poured, neither shall ye make any other like it, after the composition of it: it is holy, and it shall be holy unto you.1 – One Spirit.2 – Diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.3
Thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.4 – God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power.5 – God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.6
Of his fullness have all we received.7 – As the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.8 – He which … hath anointed us, is God; who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.9
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.10

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: but rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.1 – The exhortation … speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him.2 – Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.3
We have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.4 – For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succor them that are tempted.5 – God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able.6

Unto you … which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, … a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence.1 – The way of the Lord is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.2
He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.3 – Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the loving-kindness of the Lord.4 – The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.5 – If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God.6 – Whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance.7
He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.8 – Ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.9 – My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.10

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; … but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously.1 – Consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.2
Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.3
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.4

Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress: so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.1
A continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord: where I will meet you, to speak there unto thee.2 – In all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.3
Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.4
The hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.5
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit.6 – Pray without ceasing.7
