• Full Christian maturity. “Perfect,” in the sense in which Paul uses the word here, refers to this. It means “full grown” and could be translated as such (1 Cor. 14:20; Phil. 3:15). (“The Fulness That Resides in Christ: Colossians 1-2:3” by B. Anstey)
