En-Hakkore

Concise Bible Dictionary:

This name, signifying “the caller's spring,” was given by Samson to the place where God gave him water in answer to his call. The spring was doubtless in the rock, not in the jawbone (see margin), because of the words following, “which is in Lehi unto this day” (Judg. 15:1919But God clave an hollow place that was in the jaw, and there came water thereout; and when he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived: wherefore he called the name thereof En-hakkore, which is in Lehi unto this day. (Judges 15:19)).
