Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. (Colossians 3:13)
Forgiving one another . . . even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

How did Christ forgive us? TOTALLY! He forgave us ALL our sins. Now we should forgive others who hurt us, don’t like us, say unkind things about us or embarrass us. One reason that maybe there is lack of power in an assembly of Christians is because there is someone there who is unforgiving. And so the Spirit is hindered from working properly. Do they have to ask to be forgiven? NO! Did the people that crucified Jesus ask His forgiveness? No they didn’t. But what did Jesus say? “Father, forgive them.” That should be our motto too.
