Gen. 41:50‑52• ⁵⁰And unto Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah priest of On bare unto him.
⁵¹And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father's house.
⁵²And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction. (Gen. 41:50‑52)

³⁵These are the sons of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthalhites: of Becher, the family of the Bachrites: of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.
³⁶And these are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.
³⁷These are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those that were numbered of them, thirty and two thousand and five hundred. These are the sons of Joseph after their families. (Num. 26:28‑37)
