The Jews, for the most part, had a real problem with this teacher Jesus. He said things that really bothered their conscience and in order to get rest from a bad conscience they tried to come up with ways to kill Him. What a wicked heart man has. Even one of the most devoutly religious groups of people on the earth could not tolerate the Son of God. They still are responsible for their hatred and crucifixion of the Lord and they will suffer a great judgment because of it. Hate turns into murder. Don’t harbor hate in your heart.
