But God was the Lord’s Father! Right! But hatred had blinded the Jews’ hearts and minds and they couldn’t see who Jesus was. Hatred hid the truth. Another lesson for each of us is never to hate another. This world is full of hatred and bitterness and violence. If you have feelings of hate growing inside you, go and talk to a close Christian friend or trusted brother in the assembly where you meet. Hate is part of our old nature. But to not be able to get rid of it or keep it under control is a time bomb. Get counseling before hate gets you into trouble.
