[Jesus] . . . touched the [coffin.]
What a day for this poor lonely widow. Her only son had died. On the way to the funeral Jesus touched the coffin, spoke a word, and her dead son was brought back to life. In a spiritual sense, if we have “died” through worldliness or indifference, let the Lord touch our coffin today so that we might revive. Let us pray for a great spiritual revival in our country so that the forces of evil will be suppressed until the Lord comes.
