About This Product

A meditation on marriage, its misuse, and its misplacement.

Excerpt: “May we consider the “end results” of this misuse of marriage. “Remember Lot’s wife” (Luke 17:32) Why did she “look back”? This chapter indicates that her heart had been taken away by the “stuff in the house.” Oh how many homes have been destroyed because of the pursuit of filling our beautiful homes with beautiful “stuff”. May we consider the daughters. Instead of Lot’s children replenishing God’s interests down here, they, by means of their father’s drunkenness, give birth to the Moabites, and the Ammonites. Their children were to be shut out from being among the Lord’s people in that day. (Deut. 23:3-6) May we seek to learn from Lot. It is a very difficult day in which we live. Our children are especially the object of Satan’s efforts to hinder the work of the Lord in this hour. May we heed the exhortation “Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour;… but the God of all grace,….strengthen you…” (1 Peter 5) In conclusion, beloved brethren, may we “Consider our ways”. (Haggai 1:5)
