 Then the other tribe is Naphtali, which means “Wrestling.” Now there is one who would keep us from judging ourselves, or from judging evil; and would always rob us of our joy, and prevent us from giving a good testimony. He does it by subtlety, and we are told to have on always the whole armor of God to withstand the wiles of the devil. We shall have to wrestle all the time we are here. “We wrestle not against flesh and blood,” not as the Israelites did in Canaan; but “against principalities, against powers,” etc. We shall never be able to lay aside our arms, or give up our wrestling, the whole time we are here.
