• The Lord is coming quickly. But if we are not looking for Him with hearts at rest through His grace, we are sure to pervert His sayings, instead of turning them to profit. (“Lectures on Revelation 22: Part 2” by W. Kelly)
• Three times and in different connections does He announce His Coming (vss. 7, 12, 20). In each instance the word quickly is found as intimating how near we are to the realization of that blessed hope. (“Revelation 22: Concluding Vision and Testimonies” by W. Scott)
• “He” (not they, as in Rev. 1:3) “who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book” is pronounced “blessed.” Thus the blessing at the beginning is repeated at the close, only it seems more individual here. (“Revelation 22: Concluding Vision and Testimonies” by W. Scott)
• To keep these words is to treasure them, to prize them, and act upon them. (“Revelation 22: Concluding Vision and Testimonies” by W. Scott)
