We don’t expect to be robbed when we’re on a trip, but sometimes it happens. A close friend of mine was robbed of all his money and valuables when he was visiting in Africa two years ago. One of my sons was accosted in London, England, when we were on vacation and had his wallet stolen. But there is a spiritual lesson in our verse. Satan, our biggest enemy, wants to rob us of our freedom and our dignity. When we get away from the Lord Jesus, that can happen. So stick close to the Lord all your Christian life.
