(bony). Son of Gomer, of the family of Japheth (Gen. 10:3³And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah. (Genesis 10:3)). His descendants became horse and mule merchants, and have been associated with the ancient Armenians (Ezek. 27:14¹⁴They of the house of Togarmah traded in thy fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.
