It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
There have been many men in the history of the world who have been great and powerful people. And yet all of them died and are still dead and their bodies in the grave. But the Lord Jesus Christ died once, for sin, and then rose again and is still alive and always will be. He is the “I Am” - the ever-existing one. Nothing is ever too hard or impossible for Him. It is certainly better to trust in Him rather than man. Man fails; Christ cannot fail.
