He was wounded for our transgressions.
What a statement! The sinless, perfect Son of God was wounded for my sins. God punished His own Son for the sins that I have done and will do. And not just mine, but for all who have put their trust in Him. We can never really enter into what He suffered for our sins. But we can at least spend a few minutes today remembering His death at Calvary.
