Here is another old servant of God, but his eyesight failed in his old age. However, God provided glasses for him in the form of a young boy, Samuel. Samuel worked for Eli in the temple. He spent all his life in the service of the Lord and one of his first duties was to give God’s message to Eli. Samuel had his eyes opened at a young age to trust in God, and he never turned back. How sad to end up blind when, by staying close to the Lord, we could end up with perfect sight.
