In Your Heart

“Therefore shall ye lay up these My words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes” (Deuteronomy 11:18).

Here are eight keys to having our hearts warmed and drawn to Christ as we pass through this cold, heartless world:

• Put your cares in the Lord’s hand,

 He will put His peace in your heart.

• Center your thoughts on Himself,

 He will put His knowledge in your heart.

• Rest your hopes on His promises,

 He will put His assurance in your heart.

• Think often of His grace and mercy,

 He will put His song in your heart.

• Meditate on His work, past/present/future,

 He will put His love in your heart.

• Make Christ the apex of your whole life and being,

 He will magnify Himself in your heart.

• Walk in fellowship with the Lord,

 He will put His sweetness in your heart.

• Continually rejoice in the Lord,

 He will put His joy in your heart.
