“The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good” (Proverbs 15:3).
How important it is to remember that the Lord’s eyes are everywhere, and He takes in everything that goes on in this world. Many people forget that fact, and act as if the Lord does not care what they do. Many do things secretly, thinking that they will not be found out. There is a saying that the measure of a man’s true character is what he would do if he knew that no one would ever find out. But humanly speaking, we must all hang our heads and admit that we have that tendency in us to do wrong, especially if we think we will never be found out.
It is only when we realize that we are always acting before the Lord that we begin to judge our actions in the right way. Whether we are unsaved or saved, all our actions are observed by the Lord, and recorded.
