• Manasseh was buried in his own house (2 Chron. 33:20) or, as it is expressed in the book of Kings, "in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza" (2 Kings 21:18). Only Manasseh after his repentance seems to me to have personally chosen the place of his burial, feeling himself unworthy of the royal sepulchers.
