(praise God). (1) Head of 2d temple course (1 Chron. 24:7⁷Now the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah, (1 Chronicles 24:7)). 1. Son of Shimri, a descendant of Simeon (1 Chron. 4:37³⁷And Ziza the son of Shiphi, the son of Allon, the son of Jedaiah, the son of Shimri, the son of Shemaiah; (1 Chronicles 4:37)).
