There is great difference in the readings here, some adding "in the temple" or "in it;" some adding "and those that bought", and some both. So it was in the days of Origen, who notices all three forms. It seems probable that the addition grew from the parallel passages in Matthew and Mark. The Edd. have simply "sold."
