• At the end of the book (Ps. 106:47) there as a cry to the Lord to gather Israel. This is a reference to the ten tribes particularly, and is sort of an introduction to the subject of the fifth book where the return and restoration of the ten tribes of Israel is developed in full. • Having thus confessed the sins of the people, the psalmist appeals to Jehovah to save His people and gather them from the heathen, and make them a praising people. (“Psalms 106” by H. Smith)
