Daily Life Here are some invitations from the Lord Himself that are relevant and needful for our daily lives as believers: • “Come unto Me” (Matthew 11:28). He invites us to come with our burdens and concerns, and find comfort and peace even in difficult times. • “Learn of Me” (Matthew 11:29). The Lord has lessons for us to learn throughout our whole live, and as Elihu reminded Job, “Who teacheth like Him?” (Job 36:22). • “Follow Me” (Matthew 4:19). To have Him as our guide is essential to being kept in the path of faith and service for His glory. • “Abide in Me” (John 15:4). This is an appeal for maintaining constant communion. We need to remember that apart from Him we can do nothing, and there will be no spiritual fruit in our lives. • “Believe also in Me” (John 14:1). He wants us to trust Him at all times and in every situation. He is worthy of our confidence and will never fail or disappoint our faith.
