• “Though Moses and Samuel stood before Me, yet My mind could not be toward this people; cast them out of My sight” (Jer. 15:1). Notice the link with Moses. When the people ruined themselves by the worship of the golden calf, they were saved by Moses' pleading (Ex. 32:33).
