 This is no uncommon excuse—a want of care for the glory of the Lord, under the pretext that His time is not come. We find exactly the same pretense now, the same misuse of the coming of the Lord Jesus—the excuse that because the time is not come for glory to set things right by divine power, therefore we may yield lightly to the moral confusion and irregularities and departure from the will of God found at the present moment.
