When the Apostle Paul needed prayer, he was not afraid to ask for it. It shows that he recognized that a person cannot make it on his own without the support from others. He recognized his own weakness and the power of many prayers going up to the throne of grace to ask for help in time of need. Sometimes we seem to be afraid to admit that we are weak or need help in some way. So we struggle along alone. It is a good thing to remember each other in prayer and to ask for prayer from others in certain situations.
