Wounded

ZEC 13:6⁶And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. (Zechariah 13:6) LUK 24:40⁴⁰And when he had thus spoken, he showed them his hands and his feet. (Luke 24:40)

What are these wounds?

Zechariah 13:6⁶And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. (Zechariah 13:6)

He showed them His hands.

Luke 24:40⁴⁰And when he had thus spoken, he showed them his hands and his feet. (Luke 24:40)

They nailed the hands of Jesus to a cross. For eternity we shall see the print of the nails in His hands. What did those hands do for men, that men would do such a cruel thing to them? Those hands took the children up and blessed them. Those hands touched the leper and healed him. Those hands anointed the eyes of the blind and made them see. Those hands took the loaf and the cup and blessed them with these words, “This do in remembrance of Me.” Those hands built a fire to warm and feed the disciples. What are your hands doing for Him?
