Praise ye Jah . Praise the name of Jehovah;{HR}Praise, ye servants of Jehovah,
Standing in Jehovah’s house,{HR}In the courts of the house of our God.
Praise ye Jah; for Jehovah [is] good;{HR}Sing psalms to his name, for [it is] pleasant.
For Jah hath chosen Jacob for him,{HR}Israel for his peculiar treasure,
For I know that Jehovah [is] great,{HR}And our Lord more than all gods.
All that Jehovah delighteth in he doeth{HR}In the heavens and in the earth,{HR}In the seas and all depths,
Who causeth vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth;{HR}Lightnings for the rain he maketh,{HR}Bringing the wind out of his stores;
Who smote Egypt’s firstborn from man to beast;
Who sent signs and wonders into thy midst,{HR}O Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on all his servants;
Who smote many nations and slew strong kings.
(To) Sihon king of the Amorites,{HR}And (to) Og king of (the) Bashan,{HR}And (to) all the kingdom of Canaan;
And gave their land an inheritance,{HR}An inheritance to Israel his people.
Jehovah, thy name [is] forever;{HR}Jehovah, thy memorial [is] to generation and generation.
For Jehovah will judge his people,{HR}And for the sake of his servants will repent.
Idols of the nations [are] silver and gold,{HR}Works of man’s hands.
A mouth have they, and they speak not;{HR}Eyes have they, and they see not;
Ears have they, and they hear not;{HR}Also there is no breath in their mouth.
Like them are those that make them—{HR}Every one confiding in them.
House of Israel, bless ye Jehovah;{HR}House of Aaron, bless ye Jehovah;
House of Levi, bless ye Jehovah;{HR}Ye that fear Jehovah, bless Jehovah.
Blessed [be] Jehovah out of Zion,{HR}Inhabiting Jerusalem. Praise ye Jah.
