10And they cry with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb.
14And I said to him, My lord, *thou* knowest. And he said to me, These are they who come out of the great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and have made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

The first "many" in verse 15 refers to all under Adam's headship who became subject to death as a result of his transgression. This would be the whole human race.
