Sinless

[Christ] knew no sin.
Scripture is very careful to guard the sinless humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ. There are three different yet distinct references to His perfection from three of His greatest apostles. Last Lord’s Day we talked about Peter’s report that the Lord did no sin. Paul in our verse today says that He knew no sin. In other words, the thought of sin was just not there. Because the Lord was and is God, His nature cannot sin. Therefore the thought of sin just was not in the Lord. An evil thought, or a lie, or any sinful act never even entered the Lord’s mind because it couldn’t. He was perfect and could not sin.
