Alone

And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow.
Abraham had pleaded with the Lord, you remember, not to destroy the city of Sodom for the sake of the righteous who were in it. The Lord remembered His friend’s request and saved Lot from destruction. Abraham had requested that ten righteous be enough to stop the judgment. According to Scripture, there was only one righteous person there and apparently he had kept his faith to himself. What a sad result of a life of compromise.
