ISA 28:11

For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. (Isaiah 28:11)
For with stammering lips and another tongue will He [God] speak to this people.
Isaiah 28:11

For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. (Isaiah 28:11)
We would all like to be as eloquent as Apollos (see
Acts 18:24
24
And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus. (Acts 18:24)
). Eloquence (the ability to speak well) is an ability given by God. We can be thankful for those who have it and use it properly. But it is a rare ability. Moses was not gifted this way and he led millions of people. Paul had “contemptible speech,” but multitudes were saved through his preaching. The power of God is more often manifest by stammering lips than by smooth talk. A heart in communion with God can speak better than a mouth in command of words.
