A Letter From Ireland

We have been much cheered by reading the following letter, and we ask your prayer on behalf of the writer:
“Dear Mr. Wreford, ―A little printed address of yours came to me in a curious way; it is pasted into a little Testament, which was thrown into our front garden by an old Woman, and one of my little boys picked it up. I am vailing myself of your kind invitation to write to you. I have often heard and read of how to be saved, and go to heaven, but for the last few years have felt that I have not really that fellowship with Christ, and perfect peace which I know I would have if I could only trust Him.
I am so very anxious to lead my four little children to Christ and eternal life. It is really the thought of them which has made me long so to feel that perfect love of God which I know I must possess to lead them right. I do pray and teach them of God’s love, but I lack the reality which I see in those who I know love God before all.”
