Work Among the French

THOUSANDS of French soldiers have written to us for Testaments, and the many letters of thanks we receive testify to the gratitude they feel in obtaining them. A deliberate attempt is being made to prevent the French-soldiers front-having the Word of God. I ask your prayers that a wider door still may be opened for us to serve God in this way. We can never believe that God will allow His blessed word to be kept from men who are eager for it. Any Christian workers among our English soldiers who are in touch with their French comrades shall have parcels of Testaments and Tracts in French sent to them if they will send to the Editor of this Magazine for them. See last page.
The Italian soldiers are also asking for God’s Word. Unless earnest prayer is offered up now, and God comes in, as assuredly He will, a wonderful opportunity for service will be hindered. I hope to be able to tell you more about this next month.
