 In chapter 9 the Lord charges the disciples with the same mission in Israel as that which He Himself fulfilled. (Luke 9 by J.N. Darby)
 {v.1-3} “Then He called... and gave... {v.2} is sent... {v.3} He said...” The order of the four verbs is very instructive. His is the choice and not ours….He calls.
