Whoso loveth correction loveth knowledge,{HR}But he that hateth reproof [is] brutish.

A good [man] obtaineth favour of Jehovah,{HR}But a man of mischievous devices will he condemn.

A man shall not be established by wickedness,{HR}But the root of the righteous shall never be moved.

The slothful roasteth not what he took in hunting;{HR}But man’s precious substance [is] diligence.

In the path of righteousness [is] life;{HR}And in its pathway is no death.
