A psalm of David.{HR}My heart [is] fixed, O God:{HR}I will sing and sing psalms , yea, my glory.
Awake, O (the) lute and harp:{HR}I will wake the dawn.
I will give thee thanks among the peoples, O Jehovah,{HR}And I will sing psalms to thee among the Gentiles.
For great from above the heavens [is] thy mercy,{HR}And unto the clouds thy truth.
Be exalted above the heavens, O God,{HR}And thy glory above all the earth.
That thy beloved ones may be delivered,{HR}Save with thy right hand and answer me .
God hath spoken in his holiness:{HR}I will exult, I will divide Shechem{HR}And mete out the valley of Succoth.
Gilead [is] mine, Manasseh mine,{HR}And Ephraim [is] the strength of my head,{HR}Judah my lawgiver.
Moab [is] my washpot;{HR}At Edom will I cast my shoe;{HR}Over Philistia will I shout.
Who will bring me [to] the strong city?{HR}Who did lead me even to Edom?
Hast thou not cast us off, O God?{HR}And wilt thou not, O God, go with our hosts?
Give us help from distress,{HR}For (and) vain [is] man’s salvation.
In God we will do mightily (make strength);{HR}And he will tread down our adversaries.
