For, behold, thine enemies make a tumult,{HR}And those that hate thee have lifted up the head.

Against thy people they devise secret craft{HR}And consult against thy hidden ones.

They said, Come, and we will cut them off from [being] a nation,{HR}And let the name of Israel be remembered no more.

For they have heartily consulted together;{HR}Against thee do they make a covenant:

The tents of Edom, and the Ishmaelites,{HR}Moab and the Hagarenes;

Gebal and Ammon and Amalek;{HR}Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;

Fill their faces with shame,{HR}That [and] they will seek thy name, O Jehovah.
