Honor — Part 2 Each Other: “Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another” (Romans 12:10). Employers: “Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honor, that the name of God and His doctrine be not blasphemed” (1 Timothy 6:1). Wives: “Husbands … giving honor unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.” (1 Peter 3:7). Godly Widows: “Honor widows that are widows indeed” (1 Timothy 5:3). Spiritual Leaders: “Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labor in the word and doctrine” (1 Timothy 5:17). All: “Honor all men” (1 Peter 2:17).
