Remember No More

“For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more” (Hebrews 1:12).

“And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more” (Hebrews 10:17).

God doesn’t forget, that’s human weakness. The things I want to remember, I forget, and the things I would like to forget, I remember. Only a divine person can choose not to remember, and one of the things that God chooses not to remember are my sins when they are washed in the blood of Christ. They are gone, never to be brought up against me again. Never! I have no fear of one charge…God doesn’t even remember them. Twice He confirms, “Their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.” He also says, “I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins” (Isaiah 44:22).

What about you? Do you have this confidence that your sins are gone, and gone forever, never to be remembered again?
