Ye were ensamples to all that believe.
These saints were examples because of the joy they had even in spite of persecution. The faith of the Thessalonian Christians was so strong that persecution, instead of producing bitterness and anger, produced joy. And everyone knew that they were Christians. How’s our witness - even without any persecution?
