Listen from:
As the door turneth upon his hinges, so doth the slothful upon his bed.
A very apt description of the lazy person. Proverbs has many verses about laziness. Here are a few: The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing. (Prov. 20:44The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing. (Proverbs 20:4).)
The slothful man hideth his hand in his bosom, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again. (Prov. 19:2424A slothful man hideth his hand in his bosom, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again. (Proverbs 19:24) and 26:15.)
Read Proverbs 24 verses 30 through 34.
Don’t be lazy!
